The Education Committee of Carry On (Victoria) provides grants to assist students in years 7-12 with expenses for fees, books, uniforms and excursions.

Students whose parents or legal guardians have a need for financial assistance and meet the eligibility criteria (below) can apply. All grants are income tested and the closing date for 2010 grants is 5 November 2009.

Carry On helps any member of the Australian Defence Forces or Allied Forces who are Australian citizens, resident in Victoria and who are:

• Former or serving members of the military forces who have recognised service in war or on peace keeping duties;
• Former or serving members of the military forces who have been injured in service and whose need or distress is caused directly by such service;
• Or the spouse, widow, widower or dependent children of the above.
