Community Bank Feasibility
Survey
The Mount Eliza & District
Community Bank Steering Committee has received more than
$570,000 in pledges from prospective shareholders to support the
establishment of a Community Bank branch
of the Bendigo Bank in Mount Eliza. This show of support from
the community means that the campaign can progress to the next
phase - Feasibility .
Surveys are being mailed to homes and
businesses throughout the 3930 postcode. The survey will
determine the level of business the community would consider
bringing to a Community
Bank Branch in Mount
Eliza.
An independent consultant will manage
the survey, which is totally confidential. Neither Bendigo Bank
nor committee members have access to the banking details of
individuals who complete the survey .
A
Community Bank
Branch must be commercially viable
if it is to be successful and create a sustainable revenue
stream for donations back to the local community - including
schools such as Peninsula. So please take 10 minutes to complete
the survey and return it in the pre-paid envelope.
If you live outside the 3930 area or
have 'no junk mail' and wish to receive a survey then please
contact the committee. Additional shareholder pledge forms can
also be obtained.
