As the Class of 2009 head
toward their last few weeks of schooling we feel it
important to reiterate several obligations that
students continue to have during this time.
All students are expected
to adhere to the School uniform policy. This
includes boys wearing a School belt with their
summer uniform and ensuring hair is of an
appropriate length above the collar. They must also
ensure that they shave appropriately on a regular
basis. Girls are reminded of the need to have their
summer dress at an appropriate length and ensure
that they wear only a single stud or sleeper in each
ear. No other jewellery is permitted. Girls' hair
should be tied back and they should not wear make
up. With the Valedictory celebrations not far away
it is important that students present appropriately.
Students who contravene these guidelines face the
possibility of not being invited to attend these
functions.
We also remind parents to
help ensure that students act responsibly in their
last few weeks at School. Behaviour that is not in
keeping with the School spirit will not be tolerated
and students who are in breach of any of these
guidelines will not be permitted to be part of the
Valedictory celebrations and may also be required to
undertake their VCE exams elsewhere.
If your son/daughter
wishes to return to school following the conclusion
of formal classes to study for their exams, they
must do so in School uniform.
We hope that this time is
not overly stressful for you and your son/daughter.
If there is anyway in which we can be of assistance
please contact us.
