Remaining functions and commitments for 2009
 

Wednesday
14 October
Inter-platoon competition, The Brumby Cup. All cadets report to the North Oval at 1.30pm in full cadet uniform. Bring bathers (selected cadets will take part in a raft-building competition).
Saturday
17 October
Cadet Annual Dine-In Evening. This is for cadets with a position of rank. All details as per the invitation.
Wednesday
28 October
Prize Giving parade and afternoon tea. Prize winners will be notified and their parents will receive an invitation to the ceremony. Afternoon tea will be provided for prize winners and their families. All cadets should attend parade in full cadet uniform.
Wednesday
11 November

Remembrance Day ceremony. Further details to follow from Captain Brennan. Unit BBQ and games.

All cadets not returning in 2010 are to return uniform and equipment on this day. Any uniform/equipment not returned will be billed at replacement cost.

If you are continuing with cadets in 2010 you keep your uniform.
 

Sat 5 –Wed
9 December

 JLC and SLC Promotions Course to be held at School. Application forms and further details to follow.
 

Tuesday
8 December

 Year 7 Induction Day. Nominated cadets will be invited to take part in a selection of activities to promote the Cadet Unit.

Congratulations to all those cadets who took part in Annual Camp. I hope you will agree it was a great camp with many highlights, including the weapons shoot, the confidence course and of course the roast dinner! Photos should soon be available for you to view online.

Next year will be even bigger and better for the Cadet Unit so I hope you all decide to stay with the Unit.

Cadets gives you a great opportunity to develop some great skills, become a leader, make lots of new friends and of course, have fun!
