AIM OF THE EXCURSION:
Health and Fitness & Pastoral Activity
TRANSPORT:
Bus to Boneo Rd
PLANNED ROUTES:
Start at Boneo Rd, walk through Highfield and
Greens Bush National Park along the Two Bays Walking
Track through to Greens Rd to meet the buses at the
intersection of Greens and Browns Rds. If time
permits then proceed along Purvis Rd to Arthur's
Seat /Seawinds Park.
NECESSARY CLOTHING:
Casual dress. Check weather forecast.
Please ensure that warm clothing is worn, as it can
be quite cold at Arthur's Seat. With warmer weather
students should wear a t-shirt as opposed to a bare
shoulders tank top. Girls are not permitted to dress
in the current trend of short shorts. Students must
wear runners or sturdy walking shoes (no thongs or
open toed
footwear), hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.

OTHER INFORMATION:

Students must carry a
small backpack including two bottles of water, items
for a shared lunch, raincoat and small snacks. There
is no fresh water available until we return to
school. There are no toilets available until we make
it to Arthur's Seat or back to the Peninsula School. |
