Year 9 students will be walking the 6km track from the intersection of Rosebud-Flinders Road and Main Creek Track to the Cape Schanck Lighthouse on Tuesday 15 September. This is a health and fitness and pastoral activity.

We will be leaving School at 10.15am (students will attend their Period 1 class) and return by 3.30pm. We will stop for lunch and activities en route.

Students may wear casual dress. Students should check the forecast the night before the walk and ensure that they wear appropriate clothing. Please ensure that your child wears
warm clothing as it can be quite cold and windy. No open toed footwear will be permitted on
the walk.

Items required in a small backpack are raincoat, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, water bottle, food and snacks, comfortable and appropriate shoes and clothing for a walk.
