Excursion: Y3 Study Tour to Echuca
Date: 19 - 21 October 2009

Dear Year 3 Parents

The Year 3 Study Tour will be held in Echuca during Week 3 of Term 4. The children will be away for three days/two nights. The dates are Monday 19 October to Wednesday 21 October inclusive. We have a full, exciting and well-tried itinerary.

Children must be at school by 8 am on Monday, 19 October as we will be departing at 8.30 am sharp. Teachers attending this excursion will be Mr Roderick McKillop, Mrs Michelle Timewell, Mrs Jenny Day, Mrs Jennie Ball, Mr Mark Cook and Mrs Liz Sweeney.

We will be staying at the River Village Motel & Holiday Units in Echuca. The accommodation will be comfortable and secure. If they wish, children may bring money for souvenirs but please limit them to a maximum of $10. Money (preferably notes) should be sealed in an envelope bearing your child's name and the amount and handed to the class teacher.

Children will be required to bring morning tea, a drink and cut lunch in a disposable bag on the first day.

Because luggage space will be at a premium it is extremely important that an overnight bag or small suitcase be used - not a large suitcase. The children must be able to carry their own luggage. They will also require a small daypack for lunch, clipboards, etc.

Any medication required by your child should be marked clearly with name and directions and handed to Mrs Timewell on the morning of departure.

All permission forms must be returned by Monday, 12 October. If your child has any special dietary requirements please let your child's teacher know as soon as possible so that we can let the caterers know.

In the event of an emergency, please contact the Junior School office.

If you have any queries do not hesitate to see us.

Yours sincerely

Roderick Mc Killop

Michelle Timewell
